About The Event

We're looking for start-ups with bold thinking and groundbreaking ideas.

Today, it isn’t enough to have good tech. You have to be good to your surroundings, too. With the world aligning itself to 2030 sustainability goals, multinational corporates are looking more and more for the perfect combination of innovation and sustainability.

ESIL, together with Start-Up Nation Central, EDF, Bazan and Johnson Matthey, are looking for solutions that seamlessly combine tech and environment. Startups with bold thinking and groundbreaking ideas in clean energy, renewables, waste, water management, and sustainability that will revolutionize the next wave of climate-tech should apply. Be in to win a cash prize of 25,000 NIS and PR exposure, compliments of ESIL and its partners.

Criteria

Startups that deal with the following challenges:

Clean Energy

Pollution Reduction

management and treatment (air, noise, vibrations, odours, hazardous materials)

Water & Sewage

Recycling and Circular Economy

Maturity Tracks

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places of each of the tracks will be professionally prepped and recorded to pitch at the closing virtual event on Jan 27, to an audience with leading investors and multinational corporations. 

The winner of the Early Stage Track earns 25,000 ILS;

The winner of the Pro Track will benefit from unique opportunity for media coverage, and intros when relevant.

Early Stage Track

From MVP up to R&D stage with initial pilots that validate the technology.

Pro Track

From a refined prototype (Betha), to a released version of the product, sales and more.

The Application Process

Applications will be reviewed by a panel of selected judges, including industry experts and investors. Six startups (three from each track) will be shortlisted and invited to pitch at our finals event on Jan 27 2021.
